      My name is Lieutenant Colonel Rich McKenzie, I am a co-founder and the Managing Director of McKenzie Professional Solutions. I have spent more than 22 years serving as a United States Marine Corps Officer where I have attended multiple senior military leadership and planning courses. At these courses, I have learned a great deal about developing plans and strategy execution. In addition to my military education, I have also attained a Master of Business Administration degree.

 

      Throughout my career I have had the great opportunity to put my leadership and planning skills to the test in high stress life-or-death situations. As an infantry officer, I had the absolute privilege of managing combat operations and leading our nation's warriors in numerous combat and non-combat deployments. I have also worked on staffs where I managed and led cross-functional teams responsible for crisis management, risk mitigation, strategic level operations, programs, and initiatives.

 

        My most recent assignment was serving as the Chief of the Current Operations Branch at the United States Southern Command. There I was responsible for the execution of strategic, analytical, and technical programs. I also led and managed the training and operational readiness of a cross-functional team responsible for crisis action management in the Caribbean and in all of Central and South America.
